The result is a new feature in the XLOCK app that solves exactly this challenge.

Cleaning teams, maintenance staff, service partners…
They need access regularly, but only at specific times — and nothing more.

That’s exactly why we’ve added a new feature to the XLOCKSmart app.

Introducing: Unlock-Only Users with Cyclic Validity

This new feature gives you full control over recurring access, while keeping security tight and administration minimal.

With Unlock-Only users, you can now:

• Grant access exclusively for unlocking

• Restrict access to smartphone use only

• Prevent users from seeing bookings, settings, or other system data

And with cyclic validity, access automatically follows a recurring schedule.

How It Works

You define:

• Who can unlock

• When they can unlock

• How often access repeats

For example:

• Every Monday–Friday, 07:00–11:00

• Only weekends, Saturday & Sunday

• Weekly or daily recurring access

Outside these time windows, access is automatically disabled — no manual action required.
